Hello all,

First of all, nothing bad happen to me. Also, I have nothing against vBulletin (as software), or against the vB community. But there are many reasons pushing me to change field of interest.

1. I'm not good on using communities. A couple of years ago I've read a very useful post of Kier (ex vB developer). "I'm not getting serious sayings from people that I don't know in read life. Their saying just don't touch me at all". Very wise. The problem is about temptation, and culture background. I can't follow this. When someone says something bad, when someone uses rude language, it really kills me and make me feel down for days. As an example reading in emails to me: "And then the Greeks became monkeys. Lying, cheating, monkeys. And the world overtook the Greek monkeys, and all they had left were their lies and islands. As the Germans say "Sell your islands, stop stealing money from the rest of us, you monkeys". PS I bet you are part Turkish, part Roman, and part Russian, a real mutt on top!". If someone reads the full email should think that I've kill his parents, his family or what else.
2. I didn't found understanding from the community members. It was a time that I had 15+ simultaneous plugins available here. Many times I tried to make understandable a simple calculation: 15 plugins X 3 questions per day each X 5 minutes for replying = almost 4 hours a day just for support. And most users where complaining if they haven't a reply within 6 hours. Not even taking in account that I was living in a country with different time zone (from USA).
3. Nobody helped me by using the search. Take as example microSUPPORT which, even if I gave it to another coder, very often I was visiting the thread to give support. But that dammit: "Warning: require_once(./includes/functions_wysiwyg.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in [path]/support.php on line 59" had killed me. I've replied at least 5 times, I post an fix and even now members are posting question relevant to this issue. One of them post his question JUST BELOW my reply to another member. On the SAME PAGE!!
4. As for vBulletin as company (not as software). What to say. They're treating coders/designers like enemies and not like alliance. That terrible editor. Dozens of articles from coders to coders trying to help each other how to implement it on use in addons not using the thread style format. No any single comment from official team. Even if I'm not working (and don't plan to do) with IPB, what I have to say is that when I asked them if as a coder I can have coding support not only they replies positive but they sent me this link: http://www.invisionpower.com/support...s/api-methods/ ..... Dozens of instructions on how to do anything....
5. Finally for vB.org. Some comments (or questions):
   1. Why they don't have a section for paid mods? IPB has a full Martketplace. WBB the same. xenForo also allows to list commercial plugins (but with limitations). Here nothing. Why? Maybe they want to grow up the "unclear" saying: "Buy vBulletin and you'll have access to thousands of addons"? Maybe they want to pass to the potential buyer that everything (except vBulletin) is free?
   2. Once I've been banned from Marco for 15 days, not because I advertised a commercial plugin (in the main post), but because I wrote a price as a REPLY to question. When the member asked me how much costs the PRO version, what was so bad to reply him? It was so terrible mistake to be ban for 15 days?
   3. Talking for banning coders/designers. Ok... Ban them. But at least update their threads saying that "xxx coder will be unable to reply to support request as he has been ban for xx days". At least this will help us to avoid reading rude message "....its 6 days now and no reply...".

I don't want to write more. I can write pages of pages. Being here since Oct 2003 I've lot to say, but better to keep my mouth close. Actually there is no sense to say anything now. The game is over. Now I'm coding standalone PHP scripts, which means that I'm releasing updates only when I want to add new features or fix bugs, and not because I've to re-write my plugin just because the vB team decided to change the coding syntax. And of course I'm not operating any forum in my site. Private support ticketing which is the best for me.

When someone talks for his experiance, is talking for the full period and not just for a single year. And as longer is this period, so more mature the experiance is. And yes, it's from the period that I was using the MicroHellas nickname. As I said I started using this site at Oct 2003 with vB3.0 Gold release if I remember well.
