Enabling Facebook Connect for 4.1.12
Hi Guys,
Are there instructions anywhere on how to do this? There is a YouTube video from 2010 on how to do this, but facebook changed all their features and webpage designs, so its totally outdated now to the point of me not being able to follow those instructions and get facebook connect set up. In other words, the links in the video aren't there anymore. |

- go to https://developers.facebook.com/apps
- click the button in the upper left corner "Create New App" a window will pop up, name your app, something like "vB FB Connect" - click Continue, then put in the validation code image - Copy the following to a text document, you will need them in the admin panel App ID App Secret - You will need to fill in the following Contact Email App Domains Category The rest of the fields you can leave as is - In the check list below that you will Check "Website with Facebook Login" Then click "Save Changes" - In your vBulletin Admin Panel Setting >> Options >> Facebook Options You will need to put in the App ID and App Secret that Facebook gave you during the App creation. Then you will configure the rest of the settings the way you wish to have them. == If you have any other Facebook Apps on your page the FB Connect will not work == |
