Pull thread info to a non-vb page easily?
I'm no PHP-Wiz, but I figure one of you vBhackers could figure out a script that can pull the latest threads from a forum easily and then paste info about then. It's kind of hard to explain, let me try explain it in better details: It'd be nice if someone can up with a user-friendly way to pull information about that latest threads from a forum and paste it just like in jcroft's hack that displays the latest threads and their replier, last replier, post count, etc.. This would be really handy and it'd be nice to have a couple instances on a non-vb page where it could pull information from 3 forums and paste the results in 3 different tables.
Sorry if I've confused anyone, if you don't understand what I'm talking about, just post so and I'll try harder to explain. |

And you can also use Webtemplates hack (in beta hacks section), if it's not your main page you need your query results.
If you create a webquery for the tables you need, you can drag any sql results from your db to your non-vb page. If you need help about creating the SQL query, just ask.. Regards, Logician |
