How to get ALL content from RSS feed?
Hey,
I am using the RSS feed scheduler but it is only getting the very latest content.. Can I make it get all the content that is available from the feed? I am trying to import my blog into vbulletin but it isn't getting much at all, I want the whole blog imported. Thanks |

If you haven't entered anything for "Maximum Items to Fetch" (you've left it at 0), then I think it should get everything in the feed. Are you sure the feed actually contains the enitre blog?
There's also a log of what's been posted from a feed, so if you got some item, deleted them, then tried to run it again, it won't post the same items again. You can solve that problem by deleting the feed and adding it again. |

Sorry for the late reply!
I have enter 0 and "unlimited" - when I entered unlimited, it got more of the posts, but not all...but then it resets to 0 every time it runs. I also have to do it manually..it isn't working automatically for some reason. Thanks for the reply! |

Sorry, I almost missed your last reply. Anyway, when you say "sets back to 0", what do you mean? Like I mentioned, there is a log kept of which items were already posted, so if you run it twice in a row it shouldn't get anything the second time.
I don't know why it wouldn't get everything if you have it set to unlimited - does it match what you see if you put the feed url in your browser? |
