Build a htaccess file which 301 redirects all connections from www.sitename.com to sitename.com

Code:

Options +FollowSymLinks
RewriteEngine on
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www.sitename.com$
RewriteRule (.*) http://sitename.com/$1 [R=301,L]

That's how I overcame it
