Login from another Web
Hi,
I have a website with member system, it has been used for 1 year, and I want to make a forum, but I want to single login, login from my system. So is it possible if my member already login to my system, they don't need any more to login again in vBulletin and use member profile / info from my system ? if it is possible, any examples? PS: I use codeigniter. Thank you. |

yes it works, it's called a bridge.
This is all you need to know, in theory: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=228112 |

I'm also interested in this and I've searched the recommended thread but cannot see the answer on it.
I have someone who has his own website but with no forum on it; we allow him his own forum on our site and he'd like a single login from his site. I haven't got a problem with doing this but I need to restrict the automatic login to his forum on our site. I'm guessing that this is some kind of bridge but I can't see from the recommended thread anything that deals specifically with creating a page on another site and allowing access to a specific forum in this way. Any recommendations? |

There's nothing out there, you would need someone to custom program it for you.
