Thank Yoi Big Al. I too had heard about an injection and have asked a specialist who told me I wasn't candidate for that particular treatment. I will need surgery to fix it. It is something I will consider if I ever get to the point of walking again or at least able to get around on my own.
At this point I don't see a need to endure another surgery in my current condition.
On happier news...
I got a new HP Envy 15-3040NR and am quite happy with it. I didn't think I'd like a 15" laptop over the 17" I had but I can barely tell a difference really- and the 1920x1080 resolution is decent. I still hope notebook manufactures start embracing high resolutions again- it is ridiculous that an iPad has far better resolution then ANY laptop available today.
