Adding CSS to a widget
I understand how the cms works and how to make a new widget. The problem im having is sizing the widget half the actual size not auto size inside my grid layout. For example say My grid im placing the widget in is 500px i wana have a widget thats 250px and sit on the right or left side of the grid so i can fill the empty space with whatever.

You size the widget by changing the grid. So, create a grid that is close to what you want, flatten it, change the css to be what you want, and use that grid as your layout for the section.

Thanks lynn; so basically i can size the grid however i want my layout to be. Kinda same concept of using a grid to make a layout in adobe programs like photoshop. So then once i have my grid set the way i need it, flattening it makes it css form within my file directory? so from there i can go into that directory and edit that grids css once its flattened? Am i right or on the same page?
-edit ( The widget has to be made too before the flattening so that widgets css gets written within the directory of new files i need) Right? |

Flatten the grid, set the CSS, the put in the widget. The widget will fit the size of the space it is given. (You may want to read the CMS Articles over on vb.com.)
