Major Additions - Add Islamic Date To Your Forum

Hello (Assalam-o-Alykum)

This is a simple template edit that adds Islamic(Hijri) date along with Gregorian date at the bottom of every page of your forum.

Step 1:

Download & Upload the file Hijri_calendar.js to Clientscript folder under your forum root folder.

Step 2:

In your Header template add the following code on top (or anywhere):

<script type="text/javascript" src="clientscript/hijri_calendar.js"></script>

Save the template.

Step 3:

In your Footer template find:

<div id="footer_time" class="shade footer_time">{vb:rawphrase all_times_are_gmt_x_time_now_is_y}</div>

and replace it with the following code:

<div id="footer_time" class="shade footer_time">
            <script type="text/javascript">document.write(writeIslamicDate());</script> <br />
{vb:rawphrase all_times_are_gmt_x_time_now_is_y}</div>

Click Save and you are done !!


Optional Step:
if Islamic date is showing one day behind then use the following code to replace it with the code you found in Step 3 (in footer template):

<div id="footer_time" class="shade footer_time">
            <script type="text/javascript">document.write(writeIslamicDate(1));</script> <br />
{vb:rawphrase all_times_are_gmt_x_time_now_is_y}</div>

Hit save and your are good to go !!

thanks, but thi's wrong for pak Hijri date.. check today Rabi-ul-Awal 13 but this show 14

This is according to Saudia I believe. Check the optional step in my thread maybe that will helps.
