Sorry to bump this old thread, but have exactly the same problem. We had a server crash last week and we moved to a better machine after restoring the site from a nightly backup.

The problem is that I cannot save my templates and any mod which has a large textarea field does not save, as it displays a blank page after hitting Save.

Does anyone know how to solve this issue?
