Adding HTML above thread in showthread
Let me try and explain this..
My forum will basically be used as a Restaurant Reviews site for a local area. Users will add a Restaurant to be reviewed by making a new thread. Now I, as Admin, want to be able to edit the showthread page by adding some HTML at the top. For example, if a user starts a new thread about "Joe's Diner", I want to be able to go back and add a picture of Joe's Diner along with some other info, at the top of the showthread page, below navbar. So obviously, the pictures/info would be specific to each different thread (restaurant). If someone could help me with this, I would really appreciate it. I'm not a coder at all, but I have, what I think, is a great idea...in my mind atleast. Let me know, thanks! |

Ya know, I was thinking... something like what is used here (when a developer releases a mod) would actually be perfect! The thread starter's first post doesn't look like all the replies. This way someone could start a thread, and I could add a field for adding a picture, etc.
Is that available, or is it a VB.org-only thing? Thanks! --------------- Added [DATE]1327557153[/DATE] at [TIME]1327557153[/TIME] --------------- Nevermind, got it! |
