Hey everyone! I hope someone can help me with a hopefully simple fix. Sorry for typeing currently on my android phone.
I have made a custom page for my website currently and I have to update it manually because I douldnt figure out how to template the vbcms system. What I would like is a one collum front page not that 4 article setup then to a one collum. How I have the page at the moment is I have my header/nav then my big rotateing banner showcase filling up the space. Below it I have the news and a custom sidebar. All I want to know is how I can implement the vbcms only one collumin the news section or how or where I can find infromation as to how I can change or edit these files. I can't seem to find them anywhere. All the vbcms news content on this page should be formatted differently I have tryed to change templates in the styles manager and I'm haveing very little sucess finding the correct files to edit. ----------------------------------------------- Now the next question I want is I have 18 staff all have unique images for their news posting. The format is avatar box and then on the right of it the title of the newspost and below that is the poster with time and date. What I would like to know is if there is a way I could use a code similar to this description: if user#123 post show image 123 here. But also on the forums it doesnot overwrite there avatars... but only sets a certain avatar for certain users when article is posted to fromtpage. Any ideas, concerns, please help. Anyone really even a hint on how to setup things would be helpful. |
