the statistics of my forum is crazy

i saw in statistics section , the most members connect to the forum in the same time: 147, how is that possible? i run the forum on my computer

Perhaps you have the session timeout really high and you kept opening new sessions. Or, are you running the cron jobs to clear the session table?

maybe a sneaky spider script found your url and now it's inviting all its spider family and friends

check the ip/hostnames, it should only be crawler bots

Yeah, if the spiders found you, especially that baidu spider, then that could be it.

vBulletin runs Scheduled Tasks (many also call them cron jobs since they are like cron jobs). One of the Tasks clears the session table. If you aren't running those, then the session table will get full.
