Is there any way (without downloading a modification) to improve the search feature that vbulletin uses? For example, if I search for "Kirb" no results will be found for "Kirby." I would like partial parts of the work to return results.
EDIT: I guess what I am asking is if the wildcard feature can be done automatically instead of the members having to put a "*" at the end of the search query. |

Am I posting this in the wrong spot or something?

You are asking if you can somehow add a wildcard to the end automatically but without doing a modification. If you can't do any sort of modification, then there is no way to automatically add a * at the end of the search. You would need to modify the code to do that (but you say you don't want to).

Maybe. Try it on your test site and see.

Any luck with this? I can't find anything anywhere for v4.x or anything besides old versions of VB and it would be really useful.
