I upgraded to ver 4.1.3 and recently have been having problems loading the site. My users started a thread and it's an alarmingly high number that are having this issue.
Here's what happens. When you either click on the bookmark or type the domain name into the URL bar, it loads an error page and says: Quote:
Please help, it's getting worse and worse by the day. I'm using using Servint as my hosting company and I have a VPS. |

No one has ever experienced this problem before?

If you type just the domain name and you get that error, it is a true DNS error. It has nothing to do with vBulletin.
Check your name servers to be sure they are properly configured. |

A link really would have helped so we could check it ourselves. But I agree it sounds like a nameserver issue. If you're on shared hosting or have tech support open a ticket with your host.

Check this >
ACP > Settings > Options > Site Name / URL / Contact Details Check the Forum and Homepage URL's. They should be HTTP://mysite.xxx without the www. |

If you can only access a site with a url that does not contain the www, then the DNS for the site is not configured properly.
It means it is missing it's CNAME for www. |
