Member Banned somehow
A couple of days ago I was in my forum's Admin CP and I noticed a person was permeanantly banned. It said my assistant banned the member. Reason was: N/A.
When I took this up with my assistant, it was a surprise to her as well. No knowledge on her part is the response I got. My question is this: Is it possible for a glitch or something to cause a member to be banned like what happened on my site? I also think someone may have gotten her passwords and did that, but she doesn't know who that could be. She did change her password. |

A third-party plugin COULD have caused this somehow, but I doubt it. She probably mistakenly banned the user. If she changed her password, she should be fine.

I hope so. I'm just glad that I caught it before that member tried to log in and saw he was banned. They are really good friends and he probably would have been hurt or at least real upset about it. I'd hate to see that happen.

I've seen members get moved to "Awaiting email confirmation" before. They swear they didn't apply for a new password or anything. But I don't recall seeing them banned.
