there are commercial mods out there, cometchat for 50 bucks and arrowchat is in development (pre-order 65$). I currently use cometchat, but Arrowchat seems to get more features, more development and more stability. So I might switch. There's a mod called tokstachat as well, that's free, but I believe it has some ads in it and is remotely hosted. Haven't tried that one. (btw I'm not affiliated with any of these.)

I'm starting to work on an integration. It'll be simple at first, no fancy bar at the bottom of your forum page :P But could move toward that eventually.

Thanks! It doesnt need to be a bar anyway. Just have an icon that is clickable or have the AJAXIM start when you login.

AJAXIM has not moved past Alpha since its 4.0 alpha release more than a year ago.
There are more modern applications that make use of jquery and XMPP.
