Massive overhead in Tables
Hello ,
There's a massive amount of overhaed in my tables, and optimize-repair (even thru ssh) wont work at all. Nothing happens, and the monster is keep getting bigger. 4.35 GB (Gigabyte) exact overhead amount in almost every table. Forum was imported from SMF with impex. Attachments are in database. (>28.000) This will be a pain for me soon, and I need to solve this ASAP. What are Your suggestions ? How can I repiar them ? Thanks in advance |

Do you store all attachments in database?
I'd try to move them back to file system then. |

Are you using InnoDB tables? If so the "overhead" being listed is the size listed for EVERY INNODB TABLE IN THE ENTIRE SYSTEM, since they are stored together. It is not really overhead, and can be ignored.
