Changes to navbar not showing up?

Using the style manager, I made a change to the navbar template to specifically exclude a forum from the "what's new" search (found the code to make this mod elsewhere on the forum).

I've made the change and saved it but it is not showing up when I access any of my forum pages.

It's not that the exclude forum function isn't working -- I can look at the underlying code and see that my modification is not there.

Is there a step I'm missing to get the navbar changes to populate all the pages across the forum?

There are several instances where you need to add the exclude line to the search.php link. Did you change every instance in the navbar where you needed to?

I had merely replaced the first instance of "getnew" and "getdaily"; after replacing all of them with the correct stream to exclude, everything works great now.
