Forum category background image - Help Needed!
Wasn't sure where this should be posted. Hope this is the right category!
I've searched high and low but couldn't find any solutions for VB 4. How can I have background images for my Forum categories? Here's an example of what I'd like to implement: http://www.rootanime.com/forum/ Any help would be greatly appreciated! |

I could have sworn I just answered this question. Did you misplace your other thread?

"I could have sworn I just answered this question. Did you misplace your other thread?"
I guess I didn't close the tab soon enough when I was posting. While posting my reply in the other thread, I decided that the question would probably fare better in the graphics category, under it's own title where it would be easier for someone that has a solution to spot. Ironically the question fared better in the thread I originally thought to post it. I was anxious to launch my site by the deadline, I thought posting in the associated category would've helped me receive an answer faster. I wont be as careless in the future. And thanks for the assistance! |

I'm wanting to accomplish the same thing, but what I don't see is how to specify the categories all to be the same dimensions.
I've got the background images displaying, but in trying to figure out what dimensions to make those category backgrounds, it would obviously be easier if all of my categories were a default set of dimensions. I'll keep searching for the answer elsewhere, just thinking out loud. |

Got it solved.
--------------- Added [DATE]1299474217[/DATE] at [TIME]1299474217[/TIME] --------------- LOL, I'm literally laughing and crying at the same time here. I never thought far enough ahead in creating these background for my light colored style. I also have a dark style and naturally, I've created a white gradient to transition the edges of my category background images to fade out on either side. Obviously on a dark style this looks like complete garbage. I take it there's no "easy" solution to this? Thanks in advance. |
