I would like to see the external redirect add-on in framed page for 3.8 and 4.x series
This would help a good bit with pagerank and seo if I am correct either way, I will be happy to enter a little msg to those who are visiting external link

I remember this plugin. I was using something similar and finally just developed a custom solution. Most of it is hard-coded and uses pieces from different plugins/hacks.
