Admin control over thread display mode
Can Admin change the thread display mod option in Vbulletin options?
If not, what is the name of the style template that control "thread display mode" under "settings and options" in the control panel? Thanks |

I am using VB3.8 - in "vbulletin option" I have "thread display option" but that does not give me direct control over "thread display option" available to each individual user control.
For example, a user can choose to display posts in a thread in different order - does anyone know what is the name of the style template that control "thread display mode" under "settings and options" in the control panel of each individual user? Thanks |

You can set this for all current user in:
AdminCP -> Execute SQL Query -> Automatic Query PS Are you sure you want this? Isn't it up to the user how he prefers to read a thread? |

I just want to see if I can adjust the default position.

The default (ie. for guests and new members) can be set in your vBulletin Options.

Just turn the option off, it will set back to the one set in admincp.

Is there a mod that will set the default display order separately for different usergroups?
I'd like visitors to see the most popular threads first, but registered members the normal most recent threads first. |
