A couple easy questions
Hey guys, got a couple fairly simple questions to those who aren't noob's like myself.
I am wanting to get all the info in my postbit legacy like "join date" "post count" etc in their own seperate cells, but I'm not aware how to do this. Also, my board doesn't seem to send of the validation emails for like 45mins to an hour after someone has registered so I need to manually change their status or they can't post right away. Is there a code I can use to make sure this gets pushed through right away after registration or what's the process on trying to make this more efficient? Thanks in advance! |

To get things in your postbit in cells you need to edit your postbit_legacy template. You can find things like join date by searching for "join_date" in the code... you use basic HTML (tables probably) to put the code into table cells.
You don't HAVE to make people confirm their email address - in admin cp -> vbulletin options -> User Registration Options -> set Verify Email Address to "No" - New users will be able to post immediately after registering. However if you are consistently having slow emails and you're sure it's your side you should contact your host for help. |
