This is actually the reason that many boards can not upgrade to vbulletin 4.
The main product used for reviews is GARS, which is run by calorie. Unfortunately that commercial product has not received updates for many years and is not compatible with vbulletin 4. Customers are stuck on vb 3.8 and can not upgrade.

There is reviewpost, which is made by the same developers as photopost. Last time I checked it, it was very outdated.

There is ireviews from vbcover. Excellent product, but encrypted. You can not modify it and you will have to install ioncube.

IB has promised to add custom content types to vbulletin and a review content type is requested by many. Please add your vote here:
