OK, you know that thing you helped me with forever ago, well I figured out the dumb problem. All of you that were saying it worked were only using VB!!!!!? I just followed the instructions and it didn't work, so I said what the hell and tried vb code and it worked. I need html to work in the headers and footers. This is towards you, I am just soo pissed off that I didn't think that's why everybody was saying it was working and it wasn't for me. Can you please visit this thread: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showt...r&pagenumber=1 and take a look at what you were helping me with before? I feel limited with VB code. I already have all the html that can cause problems censored so it wont cause a problem of users abusing html in the headers and footers. I would be very very very gratiful if you could finish this hack off with making it html complient. Please use your m4d h4><0|2 5k1ll5 and help me out here. |

yeah, what moonwolf said.
Well the whole problem was that everybody was saying that the hack was working for them. So I never could get it to work. Well, I believe it never worked for me, because I kept trying to test it with html, not vb codes. So I installed it again a few days ago and it still didn't work. I was soo frustrated I starting going down the list what I did and didn't do. I remember VB code and I tried it and it worked. So it probably was work from before too. I was hoping that you or anybody knew how to take this "hack" and make it so that html would work in both the header and footer of a post as well, not just vb code. Does this sound possible? It would be great if people could use html in the headers and footers because, I even messed around with creating my own vb codes and they just aren't flexible enough. They don't allow you to use more than one { option } so it really wouldn't work. If you could get html to work in headers and footers that would be awesome. Let me know if you can help me out here. BTW on that other hack I was talking to you about that my users were complaining that the PM popups weren't always working after I installed your hack that puts the users online on everypage. Changing that one var to what you said fixed the problem. Don't know if you want to update the hack or not, but I figured I would let you know that the new var you gave me didn't cause any problems. It may be a problem with just 2.0.3 and that's why nobody else has reported it, I dunno. Thanks for that help there too. |
