Weird Redirection
I recently setup a forum and i used the vbulletin files of another forum to configure the new forum (i own 2 licenses). Everything went fine but when i go to my domain without a file (eg. example.com) i get redirected to a subdomain on my other forum (where the files originate from). Oddly my other forum doesnt suffer from this odd redirect issue.
I used Ultraedit (text editor) to search thru all the php and js files in my new website directory for the domain of my other website and it didnt find anything. I even exported the database to sql file and searched it too and it still didnt find anything. Any idea what's happening? It appears to randomly do this redirection thing without my intervention. My new site is using a shared webhost while my old site is on a dedicated server. |

Why not upload all default files instead of the files from your other site? You could have some variable set that is being called and seeing users to the other site.

Nevermind, this appears to be an issue with my webhost or DNS. I moved all the files and folders out of the web dir and the issue still occurs.

I would check your .htaccess file to see if you have a forward setup.
