Is there a way to change the default thread rating?

Hi Guys,

I can't seem to find this on other threads, so please let me know if this is a repeat question. One thing about the thread rating system on vbulletin is that it's not very visible - in a sense that the members can't just click a "+" or "-" and have the vote added. So I think it might make sense to add a default rating whenever a thread is created, say 3 out of 5 stars (with 1 vote should suffice).

Has anyone tried changing this or know if a mod exists that can do this?
