Removing Tabs Bar

Thank you Lynne. As always very helpfull. I want to remove it from the navbar template as it's for my own site, but I've stuck. I've did it many times in the past, but now everything seems strange to me there:erm: Can you tell me which portion to remove?

EDIT: I added

.navtabs li a.navtab {display: none;}

at additional.css, and the menus gone hidden, but the bar still exists (see screenshoot)
