Question on grouping threads so users can filter them?
On my site right now, we have a classifieds section, I have everything broken up into categories, like "computer hardware", "music", "TV", "misc" , and etc. So if you go into the classifieds forum, there are sub forums for each category of things.
Is there a way to make it so that when a user clicks into the classifieds section, EVERYTHING comes up, and they can filter what they want to see. Would there also be a way where I can convert all the threads already created into their respective groups? The reason is if someone wanted to see everything right now, its multiple clicks to do so... gets a little annoying. or does anyone know something I can do to have similar effect? Any ideas? |

You'd probably be better off using "Thread Prefixes" rather than subforums if you want the ability to filter by type.
Otherwise if you want to show all the subforums in the main forsale forum try my "Master Forum" mod- https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=245414 |
