How to turn off forums manually
The admin cp setting to turn my forum off is not working. I have it set to disabled ("No"), and yet I can still access the forums (logged out; it's not an admin thing) and users are still posting to the forums.
Is there somewhere in a php file or something where I can turn the forum off? |

You turned it off via your admincp? Do you use datastore_cache (check your config.php file)? Maybe that file isn't getting updated?

Yes, I used datastore_cache. I can't find the option in it to power off the board, though.

It should actually be right at the top of the file:
