Upgrade, and looking to allow tag change

Ok, just upgraded from 3.8 to 4.0.7. Now, the [video] tag works, our old plugin (anymedia) does not.

But it means that a lot of the database that uses [media] as a tag just shows.. nothing.

Is there a way to get the [media] tag to respond the same as if it were [video] ?
