Radio and TV Streaming Player with stations library

We had great mod but it will not be upgraded by the will of coder himself, stated here:

Think that this was one of top 10 modifications on vb and Iam pissed cause will not have it again here on vb...would donate as much as I can for something similar
Anyways lite and pro version would be fine with me, think that meny of us would purchase pro version of something like this

just so if any coder is interested, that mod is marked as "reusable code", so you can pick up the project and continue if you want.

If any of proven/top coder here at vb.org would accept work on this(upgrade this mod from vb3 to vb4) I would place lets say 20$ donation as soon as he give us rough date when he can release new code.
Can any other guys interested join me here and show their interest in this modification?

Honestly I'm not interested in this mod because I don't try to make my forum the "one stop shop" for all things "internet." There are much better sites for video and music streaming then my forum could ever be... It's easy for someone to keep Pandora open in another browser window to listen to music... similar if they want to watch video... why waste my server resources on this type of stuff?

This is just my opinion in response to perhaps why members aren't interested in this.

Yes you are right, there will always be better place for music or tv...but if you look at this that way there will always be beter forum than yours.
Having a mod like this can only help your forums as you can add so many local tv and radio stations and users love that(mine did), they know about other places for this but that does not matter if u ask me cause with this mod they(users) are able to add rate tv/radio station, my users were loving these options...
And yes server resources, it uses bandwidth from the server where the station is served!

This is for me shoulder to shoulder mod with Ibproarcade modification (my opinion)

Ive said this before but the only way - apart froma total recode is to launch a mini board on a seperate db and clone the runing to vb4

I'm a bit of a Coder myself and while I can't convert this yet, I've looked at the code... there really isn't that much work that needs to be done from a programming standpoint- there's one template eval that has to be updated to the 4.x way of doing things.

What will be most time consuming, and my guess why no one has done this, is the extensive HTML/css work that will be needed because none of the old HTML will likely be salvageable due to the changes in 4.x. If someone can update the php code to not give the 'fetch template" error when installed on VB4 I can work on the HTML/css for a workable layout.
