I have a SERIOUS account spam problem on my forum. About 50 accounts get created on my forum each day; and I know they are not real people. These accounts have stupid links in their signature with guides to find doctors, buy wood flooring and stupid shit like that. These accounts aren't actually posting any spam on my forum, but I have a feeling they are zombie-bots just waiting for some bot-net to activate and then bring my forum down. So I've been manually hunting them down and deleting them each day.

I have THREE anti-spam products on my forum and they still get through...

Well since they don't seem to actually do anything against this spam, I'm requesting a new, yet simple mod. I would program it myself, but right now I just don't have the time.

This mod is simple. Whenever a SIGNATURE IS EDITED (or created at registration), if it has the text "[url]" or "http" in it, send an EMAIL to a specified email address. The email should have the username, text of the signature, post count of the user, a link to find all posts by the user, and a direct link to the CONTROL PANEL EDIT page for that user (admincp/user.php?do=edit&u=####).

I figure this may actually be a mod helpful for MANY users troubled by account spammers.
