Features:

• Mange Display the author or not.
• Select the default forum name.
• Select custom forum name.
• Choose custom color for thread copyrights
• Exclude any forum from displaying thread copyrights

Installation:
-Import XML file (as product): AdminCP > Plugin System > Manage Products > [Add/Import Product]

I give up...Is it to show that threads are copyright..

if not, I do not get it. forums always own the content,

when they copy the thread or use RSS feeds this copyrights will be moved with the thread .

and you will get visitors from this links.

If you don't want it other people do .

Because a forum here in Europe does not own what i write on their forum. Copyright can't pass from one person to another with out contracts a simple agreement on a forum is not enough to sign over your right.

EDIT: Works but not as I thought it would be..

It will say Original Thread showing the title and link to it .. but the title is for the new local title and the link is also for the new local thread and not the original

EDIT2: It seems to only work on the local site.. I copied the thread from my test forum to the live one and it did not insert the copyright notice at all

It depends on the content of this thread .

example If you attach youtube video on the thread.

you are the author of the thread but you don't have copyrights for this video.

This is not real copyrights in all cases. but in all cases you will get more visitors from this product .

it's simple . if you are using RSS feeds this information will be copied to the destination site with your forum link and you will get visitors from it .

I advice you to redownload the product because I edited the mod.

I am not sure about the RSS feed part
but it will not copy the copyright with it when you copy and paste the thread on another site.. It did if I paste it to another forum on same site..

Anyway I did download the updated file and same thing.. unless you updated twice.. I will try again

Now all threads have the copyright at the end even old threads

I have to uninstall and thank God its only a test forum

yes of course it's automatically inserted to all threads

Can you please explain WHY/HOW this mod will get you extra visitors over and above those generated by the standard RSS feeds ??

I am struggling to see how a copyright notice can increase visitor count...
