I need help adding custom php code to vb style?
I am trying to a a custom RSS reader that I can place on a page.
This is the code I'm trying to work in a style I made. I already made the vb page and it works, just the custom code does not display the feed. <fieldset class="rsslib"> require_once("rsslib.php"); $url = "http://www.newsfeed.org/feed/"; echo RSS_Display($url, 15, false, true); </fieldset> The other settings are on the lib.php file. I can call everything fine on a blank page inside the forum root directory. Is there a vb tag to ad custom php code inside vb php code? Did I ask that right? Thanks |

You cannot put php in a template. PHP goes in the the php file, html goes in the templates.

There is not a plugin that I can find to read rss feeds that don't post to the forum. let me correct that, not that I can find right now, I'm still looking, just no joy yet. I have one in c# that does everything, but it's for another site.
I was hoping for the easy way out, but I can use Java I guess. Thanks for the quick reply |
