Default Administrators can't edit profiles/usernames?

My default admin account can do it perfectly but it seems other user accounts can't. Any ideas?

Yes, you haven't given your Admins full access.

You can select them in AdminCP and then in the drop down you should get an Admin Privildges options

OR

When you first put someone into the admin usergroup you will get a warning on screen telling you to CLICK HERE to do the same.

Hope this helps.

You can edit config.php and add your user id as superadmin this way is like having all privileges options set to yes and you can edit other admins privileges too

Hey, thanks for the replies but just moving them over into the group didn't work. I also analyzed that section very carefully and my upcoming Admins still don't have full access.

I might try the superadmin user id but does anyone have any more specific advice?

blooded is correct. Just download your config file. Look up the user you want to be admin. Then just look up his id , located by his name. This is when you look his name up in admincp. Then just add his name id number the config file by superadmin. Use comma's to seperate if you have more than one.

That is a BAD idea. Unless you fully trust them, and know there will be no issues whatsoever. You need to edit Administrator Permissions under the Users section in the AdminCP, and grant them all permissions. More than likely, you have not enabled them all.

@ toonysnn: Thanks for warning me.

@ ALL: I am just about to do that but they claim that they cannot ban unruly users or even rename them with their current access.

P.S. Was on vacation for a few days but hope to resolve this A.S.A.P.
