Banner questions
A sponsor of mine sent a banner ad to put on my site. I uploaded it to photobucket and added the advertisement with the html code. What else do I add to the code so that if you click on it, it will bring you to their website?
And once I get more sponsors how do I get a rotating banner? |

Not sure about the rotating banner, but linking the image is easy once you know how.
< a href="URL to sponsors webpage" >< img src="path to image" alt="Sponsors Name" /> Also, I wouldn't put the image on photobucket as I know atleast with some image hosts, once you pass a certain amount of bandwidth they will stop showing your pictures until you sign up for a premium account. The best way would be to just host the image on your own server. |

the vb banner system is quite base and you'd need to set up some external rotation script and then link that in. You can also sign up for free ad management tools on OpenX or DoubleClick for Publishers (small business is free).

Thanks Jack, I'm fixing it all this morning.
Brad, the openX or free ad management just sets up a rotational banner? |

IT does that but it's much more flexible... nonetheless it gets the job done.
