Right. Uninstalling isn't just a matter of hitting the 'uninstall' button. Once you're sure you've gotten rid of the old files, then you can start troubleshooting.

If the one mod left a bunch of malformed links, they shouldn't generate a mysql error, though they won't work. But that could be fixed with a query or search and replace.
