Hi folks,

I have a poll on my website that's independent of the poll mechanism in VBulletin. I would like to create a "discuss" link from the poll so that people can discuss it when it gets displayed every week.

Does anyone have code for creating a new thread based on the title of the thread? For example, if there were a poll that asked people, "Which color do you like more, red or blue?", I would like the link to the discussion search for the above thread title and link there; if it doesn't find said thread title, then it would create one.

Anyone have this code?

Sad thing is that I actually had responded in that very same thread! I even had converted the Perl script to the PHP version myself for that thread. No wonder why this idea sounded so familiar...

Am I getting too old for this stuff?
