Please I am trying to create a robot.txt file for my forum. The thing is that I have some attachments (in some of the threads ) indexed in search engines which I don't want to loose. My question is that, if I include Disallow: /forum/attachment.php in my robots.txt file, will that remove my indexed attachment photos in search engines? Thanks

yes it will, however the links for the Thread Links that contains the attachments will not be effected.
