Downgrade vBulletin

Hello all,I have vBulletin version 4.0.2 and I want to change it to 3.0.5 Is there anyway to do this,how do I do this.Thanks

I want to keep all my files,images,everything same expect for plugins,style.

Is there a way but isn't guaranteed at all and maybe you will broke something if isn't performed correctly. You can migrate from vB to another software (MyBB as example) and then migrate from MyBB to vB 3.8.5.

I say that isn't guaranteed cause the merge systems can lose something so take care of.

Just install a fresh copy of version you want to use and run impex.. wait a mint .. does impex work will 3.0 .. So far i know it support 3.6+ version .. but give it a shot but keep the database . save ...

You will have to convert your forum software to IPB or SMF and then change it back to vB 3.8.5. You may need to hire someone with experience if you are not experienced in such matters.

You were just told how to do it. If you want to try to hire someone to do it there's a separate forum for that. Expect to pay at least double what you did for vb4. And you will be handing the Keys to the Kingdom to this person.

It says 3.0.5 not 8
