Just upgraded to VB4 and one of the main things my users are complaining about is they can no longer see "todays posts" or posts from the last 24 hours. There is the "New posts" link in VB, but it only shows posts from the last time you visited. Is there a mod for VB4 to display the posts from the last 24 hours? I tried searching for the past 20 minutes, but couldn't find anything.

Yeah on previous forums we solely relied on the "new posts" link and it was always really accurate and based on last visit, but also unless marked read, would pull posts from the last 24hrs. I have "today's posts" on quick menu, but is there anyway to move this to the nav bar beside "new posts" or to replace the "new posts' nav link??? The forum I have recently created, most of the users of it will be totally GREEN/new to navigating these sorts of forums. Even I, a fairly seasoned vBulletin user, just recently took a look under quick links and found "todays posts" there.
I am VERY GREEN with any kind of coding though, unless I am told step by step and/or shown how to edit or change things. Is there a mod for this? Or anything? I installed my first successful plug-in product today and was giddy... that particular one was very easy. |
