I was doing some more reading and I think since the redirect involves .php that it may be more complicated codeing. I'm patiently waiting for someone to come along to help me. I did post in the offer to pay section. I don't want to pay too much money, but hopefully a reasonable amount for someone to just create the htaccess file for me and give me instructions on where to upload it. not going to hurt anything i don't think make a new page name it index.php and stick it in that new folder with this code. you may need the real link untruncated though
