NEW Latest Album Pictures - Forum Home

It shows the pictures added to the albums on the main page. It shows only the public mentioned files. If not shows the reasons are: vbulletin settings show albums must be enabled.

The user grup that owns the pictures must be enabled show picture setting. Or there is no picture to show.

Additionally you can slect the number of pictures that can be shown.

Hope it works for you as I like it very much.

install

Go to your admin cp, then:
Plugin System -> Manage Products -> [Add/Import Product] -> Select 'product-newalbum.xml' from your computer then press 'Import'

I'm trying to get the exact same result you are, but for some reason even after doing the template edits, it doesn't show up!

I'm on vb4.02PL1, not sure if it makes a difference.

In pluginmanager - find New Album Picture Forum Home

find the code

$template_hook['forumhome_wgo_pos1'] .= $templater->render();

and change it with

Worked with your edits and they seem to work best for me.

I only need to know how to make the header row thicker; the part that you have in blue surrounding the words "Random Album Picture". I couldn't see where I need to edit in the newalbum_print template.

Am trying to make the thickness similar to that of the other forum headers:

Im not sure what you mean by background, but since I posted my change, I've changed it again using some of the code in YBMF extention for this mod

to do this just grab the js files like he mentions in that extention and change the newalbum_picture to what he has in his extention. dont change the print template to his extention if you want the look I have.

I've used TimberFloorAu's extension to make this look much nicer and I'm pleased with the results. I also want to keep it located at the bottom of the forum where it currently is. However I'm also using some other mods by Paul M which add sections to the "What's Going On?" section to display ttoal members visiting today, and total members posting today. And with these active the album pictures are appearing in the middle of this lot.

Is there an easy way to reorder where in the What's Going on bot that this mod will appear. I would ideally want to have it below the statistics part, and above the Icon Legends part. Is there an easy hook edit in this mod's (TimberFloorAu's extension) code to alter the order it appears?

That's been covered. I'm not going to read back and find it for you, but when you find it you may want to remind others how to do it.

Note that whenever you install any modification you should take the time to read through the entire thread. Some mods simply don't work and you won't know that unless you do.

I'd still like to see some options for which pics to display - specifically, "show only pics newer than x days".
