CMS at root...forums in sub?

To me this is not a cosmetic thing, the root should be the site entrance because that's my canonical URL and the one i am going to share, but i keep being redirected to http://www.example.com/content/

In fact the CMS displays well for the Unregistered but in /content/

This is really already set for all users to see. (I have found this which may prove useful to some) but for me it doesn't fix the problem.

Maybe this is a setting for the Home section, i am going to search about this (unless someone comes up with a solution here

)
