Vague, meaningless thread titles are the bane of most forums.

It's a bit complicated to edit thread titles. Is there any more obvious way - such as an "Edit thread title" button?

You know "Edit Thread" is in the Thread Tools dropdown menu?

Hi Marco

We don't allow users to edit the content of threads after 24 hours.

We allow indefinite editing of thread titles.

The "edit thread" button disappears after 24 hours.

So you are not looking for an Edit Thread button, but you are looking for a modification that allows editing after the max. post edit time.

They key here is the title of the thread. We want people to be able to edit the thread title indefinitely but not the thread content.
