I heard that with this upgrade it overwrotes the templates with new ones. This means I will lose all my template hacks, (ALOT). Im wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to take out the part of the upgrade that over write the templates, but does the mysql changes, and such. Then get a list of what codes should be added to the templates and I could do it myself for the things Im willing to add.
If its not possible, I don't think Im going to upgrade any time. Its just too much work. Hours-days, etc. |

The upgarde scripts (including the latest) only overwrites the default ('global') template, and will not hurt your customized.
So don't worry, none of your work will be lost. ![]() |

keep in mind the word overwrite "global" files and also all files that have been modified ".php" files will also be overwritten.

Im not too worried about those, as Im a avid template "hacker", rather than code hacker. 90% of my changes are template changes. The other 10% are hacks related to the php files. I have no prob resetting those.
