need to hide usernames in the archives
My forums uses people's full names as their usernames.
Previously, we have kept our forums hidden from search engine bots like Google. Now, we are interested in opening up our forums to search engine bots, but we want to protect user privacy. Since we are a closed organization (membership required to read or write content), we want to get our brand name out there better when people search, but we don't want to give away any of our usernames. Is there a Mod out there that does this? we're currently running vBulletin 3.6.7. Thanks, -Brian |

anyone have any ideas on this?
phpBB has this feature built-in, and we're considering switching. --------------- Added [DATE]1263768810[/DATE] at [TIME]1263768810[/TIME] --------------- I was able to figure it out. Unfortunately, it required me going into about 7 templates and changing the content in there. I was hoping there would be a "mod" or a single function that I could have tap'd into, but oh well. It works. |
