Keeping user info private from other users
Over the last couple of years, I have been using vbulletin 3x to have private one-on-one dialogues between myself and my customers. I would set up forums to discuss specific topics and have used vbulletin's user permissions to stop each customer from seeing the forums of others. I have now upgraded to vbulletin 4 and want to do the same thing.
I also do not want my customers to be able to see the names or any other information about other customers who are registered under any circumstances: for example, I am NOT wanting them to be able to see the "Newest Member" . Trouble is...I can't remember how I acheived this in the version 3x. Did I edit some templates or something???? Anyway, can anyone suggest how I can easily restrict users from seeing the names or any other info users in vbulletin 4? Thanks in advance! |

Vbulletin support have referred me back to this forum for assistance. I am wanting some way for allowing the user names of users to be invisible from other users, and preferably too info such as the number of users. May I ask if there is any way for the "What's going on" section to be hidden or removed altogethher as this seems to be the area that contains this info. Any help will be appreciated.
