"sending forum feedback"
i don't know if I'm putting this in the right area on this forum but I have a quick question. I'm a total tech knob so please reply using dummy words. LOL
Probably a stupid question but can a forum be attacked or hacked via "sending forum feedback". I ask because I had a new registration who immediately when to "sending forum feedback" was there for a while, then my forum started acting up and then crashed the next day. Apparently my mysql table 'post' was all of the sudden corrupted. If this was an attack or attempt to hack, what can I do to watch for this more? I have my forum set to confirm in registration and all newbie posts are moderated. What else can I do? Thanks for any advice. |

The Sending forum Feedback link has nothing to do with the post table. I would guess this was just coincidence. And sometimes tables get corrupted. Usually not often, but it can happen. Just repair it and hopefully that is the end of the issue.
